Humanitarian aid for the fight against coronavirus

Shinhan Bank, within the framework of humanitarian assistance, donated 500 units of personal protective equipment worth $20,000 to the Department of Public Development of Almaty and the Department of Quality Control of Goods and Services to fight coronavirus infection.
«Together with our Korean partners, we have opened a laboratory with the best PCR equipment in the city. The contribution of this laboratory to the diagnosis of COVID-19 in the city is very significant. I also want to thank our Korean partners for the gratuitous assistance provided in equipping medical workers with personal protective equipment. We have now handed over to the city AIDS center tests to detect COVID-19», Bekshin noted.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Kazakh embassy in Korea, organized humanitarian aid from a consortium of Korean companies. This consortium consists of three companies — SK Engineering & Construction, JSC Rakhat/LOTTE, and JSC Shinhan Bank Kazakhstan.
